this makes so much sense!,

We are very new to Dressage but this was a very enlightening video. The info on the structure of the horse3 as it works is invaluaqble to any rider to really picture what the horse is doing and how itis doing it.
It has always made me wonder why there are so many joint supplements out there and what we are doing to our horses to make them need them . This helps to answer that question |

Excellent graphics,

Even if you're not terribly interested in the subject matter, this dvd is a great watch! It is one of the best produced horse videos i've seen. The biomechanics of the horse is shown with amazing 3d graphics, horses painted with muscles and bones, and actual horses on treadmills.
The discussion was of course interesting and well done, but the visual examples really took this dvd to the next level, and made the concepts easier to understand. |

Definitely a Must-watch...,

Even if you don't ride dressage, but you care about horse welfare, you must watch this DVD. Heuschmann describes the anatomy, physiology and movement of the horse in thorough detail. The DVD is so content-packed that you may have to watch it 2-3 times to absorb everything. You will learn how to tell the difference between a "leg mover" and a "back mover" and why the distinction is so important. The world would be a happier place for horses is every rider watched this DVD. |

A very powerful DVD. Showing the roll-kur horse next to the classically trained makes the movement look like an electric cattle prod was used. This should be a part of every judge's training. I loved the call for sanity to the judges by asking them to give no score at all for a leg mover. How else will dressage as an art survive? |

A must watch regardless of riding discipline,

A fantastic DVD. Every horse rider and trainer should know how the horse's system works and how we as riders should focus on using the correct muscles for development. I found the movie a little fast the first time around but got a lot out of it the second viewing. A must see. |

Speaking out,

I'm so glad that there are people who are speaking up! This video showed us in 3D what is happening to the horses in the competition world. I would recommend watching Classical vs Clasique along with this one. It's very important to watch both videos to have a more understanding of what is correct. It was very good. |
